How sweet it is to come home...home to Bozeman, home to our house. (I can say that without disclaimers now because it really is ours! We closed on our new mortgage last Monday without a hitch. *Our new address is 1708 Wildflower Way, Bozeman MT 59715.) After a bit of unloading the van, shoveling, and fire-building, we are happy, warm, and still enjoying the wonderful effects of a snowy white Christmas in Billings with our loved ones.
Amos-Moses (Mason) doing his impression of Grammie Myers.
We spent Christmas Eve at Grampa and Grammie Schuyler's. The boys were thoroughly spoiled and we all enjoyed watching them play with their gifts. Grampa Dave, Auntie Kayla, Aidan, Auntie Janelle.
Little munchkins curious about Grampa's camera.

Christmas morning at Grammie and Papaw Myers'. My Grammie journeyed from Indiana to spend the holidays in Montana. The boys quickly warmed up to her and chose her lap as a resting/snuggling spot often.

Papaw and the boys.
My mother gifted the boys with two electronic, flashing, noise-making toys for Christmas. Thanks, Mom. Anyhow, this short little clip makes me laugh for two reasons:
Mason's little dance
My mother looking furiously under the tree for a gift she had wrapped for Matt. She just knew it was under there somewhere. In the end, we found the gift in my dad's stocking where she had inadvertently placed it.
Please forgive me for my absence! I know how disappointing it is to continually check-in on a blog and continually find it un-updated.
Quick update:
We were approved for a mortgage and moved into our house the week before Thanksgiving. (I'm no longer packing boxes of 'faith'...I'm unpacking them!)
We hope to close on the house by Friday.
The condo is still not rented...we are continuing to trust our Provider for provision.
Matt and I vacationed in Maui, Hawaii, for a week while the boys enjoyed both sets of grandparents.
We are back in Bozeman, settling in, and really enjoying our new home.
Picture update:
Smiggy enjoying his first Oreo.
Matt building a fire in the new house. M and S are always eager to help him with this task...they hand him wood and crumpled newspaper.
Smigg-a-doo upon waking from his nap...his hair was unusually spiky and I'm still not sure what caused it.
Unpacked crap...er stuff.
Amos-Moses (Mason).
Piano sing-along before we moved.
Me, enjoying the sunset in Pa'ia, Hawaii.
Matt and our rented car...the Caliber.
One happy couple. Our trip to Hawaii was mostly filled with something we don't get to do much...doing whatever we wanted all day long! We had a grand time - wonderful weather, lots of laughs, plenty of sunshine, and all the delicious seafood we could eat.
Hookipa Park, Pa'ia, where the surfers catch waves.
What a rebel.
Maui Tropical Plantation.
Our favorite beach, Napili.
The view from our condo in Kihei.
My little men have learned to walk in my shoes. S is scuffing around in my Dansko clogs...those of you who own a pair know how heavy they are - no problem for him. In this clip, M debuts my patent leather mary janes...proudly.
*Many thanks for all your prayers, calls, e-mails and encouragement...and also for enduring my out dated blog for weeks.
