Christmas and other stuff

Greetings and Happy 2010!

We had a lovely, white Christmas here in Bozeman. Both the Myers and Schuyler families graciously gave us their blessing to stay at our own house for the holiday and we seized the opportunity to start new traditions and make Christmas memorable in our own way.

Christmas Eve found us at the Oberly's house with the Bedfords and all 7 of our combined children. We wined, dined, laughed, and indulged our children with sweets and one present to open.
Blakester and Lizabeth are great little chums.
SoyBoy - in good spirits, as usual.
Rebecca had a great little nativity activity the children enjoyed.

Smith, Rob, and Mase. The monkeys love their Uncle Rob - especially wrestling and climbing all over him like...well, like monkeys.

Ad, Smiggs, and me, taken by yours truly. I like that half of my face best anyway.
M and M.
Smigg-a-don and Me.
The beautiful Oberly family.

Christmas morning was warm, cozy, and easy paced for the most part. The monkeys slept until 8am or so, giving Matt and I time to enjoy a cup of coffee, stuff the stockings, and lounge by the fire.

"Santa" gave the boys kid-sized carry-on suitcases. These were a very big hit. The suitcases are wheeled to and fro, carrying all sorts of tools, toys, and guns, all day long.
Our very first Christmas as husband and wife, M and I decided to make homemade cinnamon rolls for breakfast. This delicious tradition has stuck. I do love me a gooey cinnamon roll with coffee in the morning.
New camo hats from Dad.
Elk figurines.

Shooting elk figurines with pistol. M got them caps for their pistols. They are loud, they spark and smoke, they are somewhat dangerous...M and S love them, of course.

Hope your Christmas and New Year was full of laughter, family/friends, and the joyous remembrance of our Lord's birth!

**Check back shortly for a post on the transition we've made (are still making) from cribs to big-boy beds and I will finish the posting on my boys individually - we can't forget little Soy!

please tell mr. s that i would like caps for my gun. oh wait i don't have a gun. please tell him i will take a gun as well. thank you.

i'll even consider a trade. 2 cute boys for an evening of fun with T in return for the above desire being fulfilled. i think there really should be no thinking involved with this.

Sawyer is such a chunk! I love that Rebecca had a nativity activity...can she just raise my kids if I have them? You and Addie look ravishing, and holy cow the monkeys are looking like Matt....ok thats all. But I am glad you had a relaxing holiday. love you!
