Me and mine

My little Soyster after a much-needed bath. He's an expressive one.

And so deliciously chubby and delicious. I have to resist the temptation to just gobble him up quite often.

Bozeman enjoyed a nice spell of warm weather here lately. It found us outside as much as possible - drilling, shoveling, and just generally working. Mason, above.

Smitty and his infamous eyebrows.

One warm Saturday ago, the Perrines and Bedfords joined us in our backyard revelry.

Matt and Bing shooting the bow.

My two monkeys not-riding the tricycle. Pedaling is still a yet-to-be-mastered skill. Smith is in stripes.

Mama Lane and Baby Perrine enjoying the sun. Soon we will know if it's a boy or girl! I'm playing the odds and saying it's probably a boy ;).

Blake, our resident bike-riding pirate extraordinaire.
Family photo retakes. This is probably the one I'll be sending out to y'all...probably. What serious little monkeys I have.

Due to the crummy weather that hit us Easter weekend, we moved our egg hunt from our backyard to Miss Sara Kavanagh's classroom. It was perfect; the kids played in the gym while the mamas hid the eggs and then we let them loose to fill their baskets. As you can see from the photo, it's nearly impossible to get eight little ones to look and smile at the camera all at once. Impossible.

After the hunt, everyone headed back to our house for lunch and fellowship. Addie and the little ones built an angry snowman and lots of little snow people.
The men took turns trying to hit the chimney on our garage with snowballs.

I made an effort to keep Holy Week and Jesus' resurrection at the forefront of our celebrating, honest, I did. However, we enjoyed lots of chocolate and candy and these Loaders were a big hit with the monkeys. They are "working" all the time now...even more than before. :)

I hope those boys are getting paid for all of the work they do around the house.
