I bought two cute birdies from Jo-Ann's and thought I could transform them into bright yellow birds for my mantel. Things I learned:
- There is a reason Valspar spray paint is cheaper than Krylon.
- If, after spray-painting an object, you are not liking the way it's looking, DO NOT put said object under running water to rinse off wet paint. You will have a sticky mess on your hands...literally. (I spent 10 minutes scrubbing my hands with Goo Gone.)
- Some crafts can still be successful under a time-crunch...some cannot.
- Spray painting in the house is a decidedly BAD idea...fumes!
