Christmas

How sweet it is to come home...home to Bozeman, home to our house. (I can say that without disclaimers now because it really is ours! We closed on our new mortgage last Monday without a hitch. ) After a bit of unloading the van, shoveling, and fire-building, we are happy, warm, and still enjoying the wonderful effects of a snowy white Christmas in Billings with our loved ones.

Amos-Moses (Mason) doing his impression of Grammie Myers.

We spent Christmas Eve at Grampa and Grammie Schuyler's. The boys were thoroughly spoiled and we all enjoyed watching them play with their gifts. Grampa Dave, Auntie Kayla, Aidan, Auntie Janelle.
Little munchkins curious about Grampa's camera.
Smithy.Amos...and someone's gross foot in the background.
Christmas morning at Grammie and Papaw Myers'. My Grammie journeyed from Indiana to spend the holidays in Montana. The boys quickly warmed up to her and chose her lap as a resting/snuggling spot often.
Grammie Myers showing off the new sand box toys.
Papaw and the boys.

My mother gifted the boys with two electronic, flashing, noise-making toys for Christmas. Thanks, Mom. Anyhow, this short little clip makes me laugh for two reasons:

  1. Mason's little dance
  2. My mother looking furiously under the tree for a gift she had wrapped for Matt. She just knew it was under there somewhere. In the end, we found the gift in my dad's stocking where she had inadvertently placed it.

Merry Christmas!

Bethany and I laughed and laughed. Thanks for the glimpse into the Myers Christmas - we got it early, but it's just not the same!

And what I mean by that: no orange in my stocking this year.

To Monica,
Thank you for losing Matt's present. He has an "embellished " story of the Christmas that I hid his Christmas presents and couldn't find them. So the tradition continues!!!!!
