Here it is...my 18 week pregnant belly. Seemingly bigger with this one at 18 wks than I was with the boys. Sigh.
Now that I'm feeling more like myself, I've started sewing again. While the boys napped, I spent an afternoon cutting out a pattern for a smock apron. I've wanted to make one for awhile but haven't had the chutzpa until lately. My "sewing room" is the kitchen floor. It works...for now. After the boys went to bed that night, I sewed it together.
I'm quite pleased with myself and the result. I learned how to sew pleats and how to apply double-fold binding to a raw edge. Sadly, I won't be able to wear it much longer due to my growing bump. I'll add that to my list of things to look forward to after the baby is born. The list so far, besides having a new little one: beer and wearing my smock apron :)

Cheers: your BEAUTIFUL baby bump, your EDIBLE boys, your SAAVY sense of style, your UNCANNY ability to sew, and the chance to see ALL if it this weekend!
Jeers: Snow. I totally agree.
I agree with Janelle! It may be a long way to travel but I need a split seam on some pijama pants sewn, a button put back on and a strap put baack on a dress. Maybe you noticed I don't own needle or thread... ha ha ha
Your belly is adorable and if it helps I will wear your smock apron and take lots of pictures to put on the blog, let me know.
The boys faces seem to be maturing and they just get cuter and cuter.
Thanks for the update, can't wait to see you all!
paywea- the price to ride a rollercoaster
that one of the boys with hands in pockets reminds me of that one where the two little farmer dudes are standing there and the one says to the other..."been farmin long?"
